I have been teaching special education in the high school setting for the past 24 years. I have a BA in Special Education and a MA in Teaching and Learning Through Technology.
Nice job! Your cast on podomatic came out much better than I have been able to get. I think mine was fuzzy because I was using an ambient mic. I should have used a headset.
I liked your comment about keeping the audiocast conversational. You are right. If it sounds like you are reading or lecturing, it is hard for listeners to pay attention. We are much better at "hearing" conversation. :-D

I like your idea about using the Flickr pic for a round robin assignment. I think students appreciate making their own choices.
